Meet Wendy

RMT

Wendy graduated with Honours in Massage Therapy in 2002 from the International Academy of Massage, located in Ottawa, Ontario. She began her career in Ottawa, where she gained experience working in chiropractic clinics, an award-winning spa, and by building her own mobile massage therapy practice. Wendy’s passion for lifelong learning led her to Queen’s University where she is currently enrolled as a part-time student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc, Honours) online degree program.

Since moving to Victoria, Wendy has continued to deepen her skills and experience working in spa and clinic settings. Wendy’s background in various spa settings has taught her the benefits of helping clients to relax first to provide safe and effective treatments, allowing her to manipulate the deeper layers of muscle tissue to achieve results. She uses a variety of techniques including Swedish techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, active and passive stretching and myofascial release techniques to address client concerns and improve function. The amount of pressure used is always within client comfort.

Wendy encourages her clients to continue with stretching and strengthening exercises at home and she is happy to discuss any health-related questions or concerns during treatment. She is passionate about helping clients of all ages and abilities achieve their health goals and would sincerely welcome you to her clinic practice at Aurora Health and Wellness.

Please note: Wendy is not currently taking ICBC patients.
