Max Arora
RMT
Max Arora is a Registered Massage Therapist at Aurora Health and Wellness. Max provides individualized, evidence-informed massage therapy designed to reduce pain, ease tension, and support long-term well-being. His approach is rooted in presence, compassion, and a deep respect for the body's natural capacity to heal when given the right conditions.
Before becoming an RMT, Max spent over five years working as a certified personal trainer, coaching clients in strength training, movement, and rehabilitation. This foundation gives him a strong understanding of functional movement patterns, posture, and how everyday habits contribute to discomfort or injury. His experience as a Raynor Massage Practitioner further shaped his appreciation for the emotional and energetic dimensions of healing, which continue to influence his work today.
Max's treatment style is integrative and adaptive. He uses a blend of myofascial release, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, active manual release, and breath-guided techniques to help patients feel more at ease and more at home in their bodies. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic tension, or seeking stress relief, Max meets you exactly where you are — creating a supportive, collaborative space for your goals.
Outside the clinic, Max can be found hiking local trails, paddling the coastline, exploring new movement practices, or reading about fascia, neuroscience, and philosophy. His commitment to balanced living informs his therapeutic philosophy: healing isn't forced — it's facilitated through awareness, intention, and kindness. Max is currently accepting new patients for massage therapy at Aurora Health and Wellness.
