Meet Heather

Hypnotherapist, R.C.H.

Heather Elif Pilon is a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist registered with the Canada Association of Counselling Hypnotherapists and Educators. Her approach to supporting clients is characterized by warmth and gentleness, utilizing hypnotherapy as a valuable tool in their journey towards healing past wounds, regulating nervous systems, and achieving their desired goals.

Heather’s professional background initially involved supporting communities as a yoga and meditation teacher, a role she began in 2008. She gained extensive knowledge of yogic philosophy and principles during her studies at the Sivananda Vedanta center in Trivandrum, India, where she completed her first of three yoga teacher trainings.

Building upon her yoga and meditation expertise, Heather expanded her skill set to include hypnotherapy in 2022. She draws upon a transpersonal psychology model that integrates the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and creative aspects of being into a unified whole. This comprehensive approach allows her to address deep-rooted issues, promote emotional healing, and guide clients towards accomplishing their personal goals.

Heather has also been working in the Victoria School district for the past three years supporting families with neuro-diversities and has a special interest in working with parents with neuro-diverse children. The other areas she works in are family of origin, depression, complex trauma and PTSD, and self-confidence challenges.

Heather is a graduate of Colorado University of Boulder, (BA Fine Arts), Hawaii Pacific University, (MA Global Leadership and Sustainable Development), Ascension Center for Hypnotherapy (RCH), and is currently studying for an MA in Clinical Counseling at City University.
